During this presentation, you will learn more about sexual assault services offered through AMHC, the spectrum of sexual violence and its impact on a person's life, the state of sexual violence in Maine, available resources, and what needs to be considered when supporting survivors.
Sexual violence affects all aspects of a person, psychological, emotional, physical. Anyone can experience sexual violence or assault regardless of gender or sexual orientation. It’s important to understand that sexual violence has many layers, and to acknowledge that some of these behaviors may seem innocent.
