Hour of AI - AI for Oceans In-Person
Are you interested in learning to code and having fun at the same time? Come join us as we explore Hour of AI - AI for Oceans
Learn about AI, machine learning, training data, and bias, while exploring ethical issues and how AI can be used to address world problems. In this fun introduction to artificial intelligence, you train a real machine learning model to identify sea creatures and trash in the ocean. No experience needed! We will have two modules available, one for students in grades 2-5, and another for grades 6-8. Please indicate your grade in the registration below.

Computer science is about so much more than coding!
Introducing Hour of AI
Building on over a decade of success with the Hour of Code, our new global initiative is designed to help students and educators everywhere take their first step into understanding and creating with AI.
Through hands-on, easy-to-follow activities, learners around the world will demystify AI and imagine what’s possible when they harness it for good.
Because the future isn’t something we wait for.
It’s something we build — together.

Registration Details
We encourage participants to bring their own devices and headphones if you are able to.
Please specify when you register your child whether they will be planning on bringing a laptop or other portable computer.
This will allow more kids to participate as we free up the use of our limited in-house devices to kids who don't have them.
