Intro to Garment Mending In-Person
There is so much going on in the world of mending right now and this session will both inspire and give practical advice. We will start with examples of various mends and then move into techniques and questions. Bring garments you would like to fix and all your questions. The goal is to learn from and inspire each other.
Claire Weinberg, owner of Dulse & Rugosa in Gouldsboro, will be leading this workshop. Dulse & Rugosa started as a mother daughter business in 2012 to share the wonders of Maine, especially our oceans. We discovered the magical powers of Maine seaweed as a natural remedy for itchy scalps. At the time, we were committed to harvesting and growing the botanicals we used from our remote Gotts Island home.
