Tool Workshop: Build an Accessible Garden Bed In-Person
Are you interested in learning how to build a garden bed?
Join local instructors and other volunteers to build 2 accessible garden beds for Ellsworth's new Community Garden.
In this workshop, you will learn how to use:
- drill
- circular saw
- carpenter's square
- level
- staple gun
Registration Details:
You need to be at least 16 years old to participate, and registration is required. We will provide snacks.
Please bring safety glasses, ear protection, gloves, and a mask.
This workshop is a collaboration with the Ellsworth Garden Club and a local mutual aid group.
Rain date: May 16.

This workshop will take place at the Everybody Eats Community Garden.
Behind the Tradewinds gas station in Ellsworth is a property Frenchman Bay Conservancy acquired in 2024, the Whitney Forest.
The Whitney Forest is the home of the new Everybody Eats Community Garden, created in partnership with Green Ellsworth.
