About BRSQ
The Broken Reed Saxophone Quartet is a renowned jazz ensemble that pushes the boundaries of traditional saxophone music. Together, they transport their audience everywhere, from Mozart to New Orleans to Cuba, to the pages of poetry and popular culture. As its name implies, the group is as linked by its sense of humor as it is by its unique sound.
This is a rain-or-shine event.
This performance is made possible with the support of Jazz Road, a national initiative of South Arts, which is funded by the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation with additional support from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation
