Kids' Storytelling Workshop In-Person

Join us for a storytelling workshop with local writer, Melissa Burkart. We will start with a brainstorming session where we talk about the elements of storytelling. Depending on the group we will create our own collaborative story, or work on individual stories. Melissa will provide prompts and tools to guide kids whose imaginations are developing ahead of their writing skills.

This workshop is inspired by the Telling Room Writing contest, which accepts submissions in October and November.

Melissa Burkart is a fantasy writer with short fiction published in Trollbreath Magazine and the Sudden Fictions Podcast.
